History of The Law Office of Adria Lynn Silva, LLC

The firm was established in 2001. For over 19 years, Adria Lynn Silva represented employees in employment discrimination cases, including discrimination and harassment based on: age; disability; family status; gender / sex; marital status; national origin; pregnancy; race; religion; and sexual orientation. Ms. Silva also represented homeowners and tenants under the Fair Housing Act (FHA); and customers and patrons in cases of discrimination in places of public accommodation.

However, the majority of Ms. Silva’s practice involved representing employees and students in Title IX sex discrimination in education cases regarding a variety of Title IX issues including pregnancy discrimination, access to athletics, harassment, equal pay, and retaliation against universities and high schools. In addition, Ms. Silva contributed to a book on pregnancy discrimination regarding Title IX and pregnancy and has a published case regarding pregnancy as a form of sex discrimination under Title IX.
